Create a share link from the Share menu. Anyone with the link sees a read-only view of the saved stack; you can revoke the link at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I install the Confluence macro?
The macro is not listed on the Atlassian Marketplace. Ask us for the private install link; a Confluence admin opens it, approves the app, and the macro becomes available to everyone on that Confluence site. Then search for "Martech Stack Builder" when inserting a macro.
Do embedded diagrams update automatically?
Yes. The embed loads live from your Stack Builder account. When you update your diagram in Stack Builder, the Confluence embed reflects the changes on the next page load — no re-embedding required.
Does it work with Confluence Data Center (on-premise)?
The macro is a Forge app, so it runs on Confluence Cloud only. On Data Center, paste the embed URL (/embed/ followed by your share token) into an iframe macro, if your admins allow one.
What data does the macro access?
The macro stores your share link, theme and height in its own app storage and frames the embed page for that link. It does not read your Confluence pages. The embed is read-only: viewers can look but not edit, and a password-protected link shows a prompt to open it in Stack Builder instead.
Which plan do I need?
Pro ($39/month) or higher: the embed option in the Share menu opens on Pro. Every embed shows a small "Built with Martech Stack Builder" badge in the corner on every plan. Your own logo on exported reports comes with Consultant, Agency, Team and Enterprise; it does not apply to embeds.
Can I embed multiple diagrams on one page?
Yes. Each macro embeds one stack through its share link. Add as many macros as you need, for example the current state and the target state one above the other.
