Twice a year we research every vendor in our catalogue: who owns it today, what it is called now, and whether you can see what it costs before you talk to sales. Each deal, rename and shutdown is checked against its primary source before it is counted, and every one is listed with its link.
How it is made
We take every vendor in our catalogue, published on this site or not yet, and an AI researcher with web search lists each ownership change, rename and shutdown, quoting the sentence from the primary source that states it. A script checks that sentence against the page it came from, and an event that does not match is left out until a person has checked it. Prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, read for that edition.
