Quickstart stack
A mobile-first app stack: SDKs, attribution and push
In an app business the SDKs are the collection layer and attribution decides where the budget goes. iOS and Android send events to AppsFlyer, which tells Braze and the warehouse where each install came from.

What it is for
Companies whose product is an app, and who buy installs, tend to build this shape. The questions it answers are which campaign brought this user, and what to send them next.
The messaging is drawn as a loop: Braze sends push and in-app messages back to both SDKs, so the Data Flow lens shows data going round rather than one way out.
Why each tool is here
-
OneTrust Consent Management
Consent management. It records what each visitor agreed to and passes that state on, so the tools downstream only collect and use what they are allowed to. Here it carries the ATT and GDPR signal to attribution.
-
iOS SDK Mobile SDK
The iOS app. Sends app events and receives push and in-app messages.
-
Android SDK Mobile SDK
The Android app, doing the same.
-
AppsFlyer Attribution
Mobile attribution. Works out which campaign brought each install and passes that on.
-
Braze Customer Engagement
Customer engagement: push and in-app messages to both apps, using attribution and warehouse segments.
-
Google Analytics 4 Analytics & BI
Analytics. Receives attributed installs hourly.
-
BigQuery Data Warehouse
The warehouse. Raw installs, app events and message engagement land here; segments and predicted lifetime value are built here.
-
Google Ads Advertising
Paid media. Receives Customer Match audiences.
-
Meta Ads Advertising
Paid social. Receives audiences daily.
How data flows
Both SDKs stream app events to AppsFlyer, with OneTrust passing consent. AppsFlyer sends attribution to Braze on each event, attributed installs to GA4 hourly, and the raw feed to BigQuery daily.
BigQuery sends segments to Braze and audiences to Google Ads and Meta daily. Braze sends push and in-app messages to both apps and writes engagement back to BigQuery hourly.

When this is the wrong choice
- Most of your customers use the website, not an app. Start from the Google-native or Ecommerce & Retention quickstart.
- You do not buy installs. Without paid acquisition, a mobile measurement partner is a cost with little to measure.
