Zeotap Composable CDP

Warehouse-native, composable deployment of the Zeotap CDP. Builds unified customer profiles, segments, and deterministic identity resolution directly on your cloud data warehouse and activates audiences to downstream channels without copying data. Also available as a Snowflake Native App. Identity resolution is backed by exclusive access to the Zeotap ID graph, retained through ~2030.

Zeotap Composable CDP Pros & Cons

Key strengths and limitations to consider

Strengths

  • Warehouse-native processing: modelling, identity resolution, and audience computation run directly in the connected warehouse (no separate CDP datastore required)
  • Deterministic identity resolution with configurable identifier families, merge/limit rules, and golden record survivorship strategies
  • Composable setup: teams can use models, computed attributes, identity, audiences, and syncs independently rather than adopting an all-or-nothing suite
  • Snowflake Native App option: core CDP services can run inside the customer’s Snowflake account via Snowpark Container Services, reducing data egress and vendor-risk surface area for Snowflake-centric organisations

Limitations

  • Only supports a defined set of warehouses for the composable/warehouse-native architecture (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, ClickHouse), which may be a blocker for Redshift/Azure Synapse-only estates
  • Operational and cost impact lands on the customer’s warehouse (identity resolution and audience refresh workloads consume warehouse compute), so performance and cost governance are the customer’s responsibility
  • Snowflake Native App architecture still relies on Zeotap cloud services for UI access and request forwarding, so it is not a fully air-gapped, zero-connectivity deployment
  • Composable deployments assume you can model customer entities in SQL and maintain a customer data layer in the warehouse, which can be heavier upfront than a fully packaged CDP for teams without strong data engineering support

Ideal For

Who benefits most from Zeotap Composable CDP

Quick Analysis

Zeotap Composable CDP is a warehouse-native CDP that runs modelling, identity resolution, and audience computation directly inside the customer’s cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or ClickHouse) rather than copying data into a separate CDP store. It is best suited to enterprise teams that want strong deterministic identity resolution and activation while keeping the warehouse as the system of record, including Snowflake customers who want the Snowflake Native App deployment option for tighter governance and residency. 1

Build unified customer profiles and golden records in the warehouse from CRM, product, and transactional datasets

2

Deterministic identity stitching across email/phone/device identifiers to improve cross-channel reach and suppress existing customers in acquisition media

3

Warehouse-native audience segmentation and activation to downstream ad, CRM, and engagement destinations without copying raw customer tables into a vendor datastore

4

Regulated-industry Snowflake deployments that require in-account processing and data residency controls, using the Snowflake Native App deployment path
